Commission. The text: "Blots are monsters composed of shadow. They look like irregular black spheres, with large, red eyes (angry eyes, of course), and a large, wide mouth full of white fangs. Tendrils of varying lengths hang from the bottom of the monster's body. It moves by flying or levitating a few feet above the ground."
I made the eyes and fangs very asymmetrical, like they are ad-hoc and without fixed position or form. Part of the request for this series of monster pictures was not to have backgrounds. With this one, I put a background in a frame so I could have the tendrils reaching out of it. Not terribly original, but lots of fun.
